One on One.. For Your Heart

         Love & Basketball gets me every time. You know, the scene where Monica challenges Quincy for his heart...and loses. I mean, yeah, they got together in the end and all was good but what if they didn't? Many go around saying they want that kind of relationship but fail to realize that life isn’t a movie nor is it a fairy tale. When you're crushing or truly love, it’s the real deal. When your heart breaks, it breaks for real. And, it doesnt take a day - no, sometimes it’ll take maybe even months to heal. (I didn't try to rhyme there, guys, it just happened lol) You could front and act like you don't care or you’re alright but deep down you know what it is. At the end of the day, you know the one you’re thinking of. You could replay a million times of how and what you want to happen with the two of you, rewind the happenings of what did happen, and fast forward into what you think is gonna happen. But, again, life isn’t a movie - love isn’t either. And, sometimes, just sometimes the way you wanted things to end up isn’t exactly a happily ever after.
            But what we need to remember is that God is after our hearts and He’s writing our love story! We are the princes and princesses in His book and we can count on His ending - where true love will engulf us. So bury yourself in Him and your prince will dig through it to find his treasure, his princess...you.
